Bristol Street @ The Raw Radio X Charity Event

A few weeks ago, RawRadioX.com hosted an event for to assist 4 Paws 1 Heart. 4 Paws 1 Heart is a legal 501(c)3 organization assisting in the welfare of animals in need of veterinary care and finding homes. 4 Paws 1 Heart also assists other rescue organizations with veterinary care for dogs and cats that would otherwise be euthanized.

The night featured five local artists:
BLACKMAIL - WARHORSES - MOTOWN RAGE - BRISTOL STREET - STEVEN URENDA -

We would also like to thank the sponsors that were involved in this event:
- Woodward Avenue Brewers - Michigan Science Center - The Majestic - Emagine Theaters - Michigan Made Products - Just Baked - Zumba Mexican Grill -

One of the artists featured at this show is the exemplary band, Bristol Street. I have followed them intently since their inception in September 2012. By carefully guiding them and arming them with the tools to coach themselves, they have evolved into an amazing five piece entertainment. Their growth was phenomenal.

Another person I want to thank for assisting in the growth of Bristol Street is Rikki Roxx. He is the man who saw the potential in the band. He had so much faith in them, that he let them have their first show at New Way Bar in Ferndale. The whole night was amazing. I reconnected with old friends. I met new friends in the process. The entire experience from that night taught me, "Enjoy the Ride."

The next major part I am overwhelmed with joy for is Evan Maguire. I met Evan years ago, but reconnected with him when he played a show at Chatters Bar. I knew from that night that Evan had a tremendous level of talent, and it was going to take him to great places in the future. To my surprise, I walk into a practice session to meet the fifth member a month and a half ago to see him there. I knew that once that happened, the band was complete. Now, it came full circle to see him with a group of entrepreneurial musicians looking to create their unique sound.

Second is Matthew Debartolo. I emphasize to him many times how his bass is the heart of the rhythm for the band. His inner potential reflects in how hard it is to duplicate his raw talent. Over the year, his stage presence has grown exponentially with his talent. I am definitely looking forward to watching his growth over the next year.

Finally, there is George Aneed. His showmanship is stellar as always. He has many life lessons to teach to the crowd at every show. I can feel it reflect in his music. His main desire is to reflect his message to the world by emphasizing the fun in life. We understand that life can be difficult sometimes. There will be setbacks in the road to success. As long as you keep a positive attitude, those small hurdles will mean nothing in the grand scheme of life. Enjoy the Ride.

Ryan James and Cory Winkler, you both have my love too. I didn't have amazing pictures this time so I want to wait until the next show to do you justice with proper writing.

If any other bands are looking for someone who can properly guide them to hone their sound (kind of like a live show coach) please feel free to e-mail Kenneth Boycott at kboycott3@gmail.com. I can discuss fees or alternatives to money if you are strapped for cash but still desire that proper guidance.
